## TLDR

Choose goods and services you sell or genuinely plan to sell. Sign in, start or open a filing, and use the Goods and services step to search or browse the filing taxonomy and add the exact items you need. Ginbing prices each selected class separately.

## Guide

A class is a broad category. An item is the exact good or service your trademark will cover. Use Ginbing’s signed-in Goods and services picker to build the scope for your filing.

## Class versus item

A class is a broad category. An item is the exact good or service your trademark will cover.

For example, Class 25 covers clothing, footwear, and headwear, while shirts are one item inside that class. A business may need more than one class when its real goods or services fall into different categories.

## Why exact items matter

China organizes goods and services into similarity groups inside each class. Items in one class can sit in different groups, so choosing only a class number does not finish the filing scope.

The exact items you select make up the filing scope. Start from what you sell or genuinely plan to sell, not every possible use of the brand.

## Choose in Ginbing

Sign in to Ginbing, start or open a filing, then go to the **Goods and services** step.

Browse a class or search by English keyword or item code. Add the goods or services that match your business. The picker shows the class and similarity group for each item, so you do not need to memorize all 45 classes.

## Price and next step

Ginbing charges USD 150 per class. Up to 10 goods or services items in that class are included. Each additional item in the same class is USD 10.
