# Filing a China trademark from overseas

For many overseas businesses, China trademark filing looks confusing because the class system, CNIPA notices, and agency filing rules are unfamiliar. This is the practical starting point Ginbing uses.

## Start with the filing scope

Ginbing currently sells one public filing service: [China trademark registration](/china-trademark-registration) for businesses outside mainland China. The public price is USD 150 per class, including the CNIPA filing fee and up to 10 goods or services items in that class.

Additional goods or services items beyond the first 10 in the same class are USD 10 each.

## Pick classes before anything else

A China trademark application is tied to classes and specific goods or services. If you sell clothing, software, and retail services, those may not all belong in the same class.

## Prepare clean applicant and mark details
